Since 1st July 2009 all foals born by law must have a microchip implanted, as do any horses born before that date who do not yet have a passport. The chip has to be legally implanted by a Veterinary Surgeon.
We can offer microchipping for horses using the Identichip brand microchips.
Although these may be a little more expensive we have full confidence in them; they don't move and we've never had one fail. The cost of having a horse microchipped is £24 + vat, including signing of the section on the passport verifying that a Vet has implanted the chip.
