We keep abreast of nutritional status by analysis of your milk records which can be very informative and/or by blood sampling and carrying out a metabolic profile to assess the cows status relative to the diet it is eating which can be very different from the diet it is given!
We also have an independent software programme RUMNUT which can also add to the discussion of diet suitability if cows are underperforming.
The various aspects of Nutrition are often discussed at our training Seminars as it is a subject that affects most disease situations to a greater or lesser extent.
