John Watkinson BVSc Cert CHP MRCVS
Graduated from Liverpool University in 1984 and after 4 years working in other parts of the UK has been working in Leyburn ever since. He holds the RCVS Certificate in Cattle Health and Production. (1996)
He is involved in all aspects of rural practice but particularly enjoys livestock work. Outside ‘vetting’ commitments his main interest is honing his skills as a keen Rugby Union fan/bore!
Michael Woodhouse BVetMed MRCVS
Michael graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2006 and has been working in Wensleydale since then, having been a native of Scarborough.
He is currently studying towards a certificate in Cattle Production.
His hobbies include woodturning and collecting any type of tool for his workshop.
Davinia Hinde BVetMed MRCVS
Davinia graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2006.
She is enrolled on further study towards a certificate in Sheep Production.
Davinia hails from Lancashire and is an accomplished musician as well as a keen clay pigeon shooter and gardener.
Christine Robinson
Christine has been the practice secretary for more years than she cares to remember.
She can often return from holiday to find complete chaos!
Our lay staff include Joanne Platt, Amanda Gray and Nicky Watkinson.
Adam Hurn BVSc MRCVS
We share our out of hours rota with Bainbridge Vets so on occasions Adam Hurn may attend to an emergency .
Adam has been based in Bainbridge for 25 years after working abroad for some years beforehand.
Jack Watkinson MRCVS
Although long retired Jack can still be seen on the showground with his Wensleydale sheep. He will not be available for nightime calvings!
